About Care of Creation
The Northeastern Iowa Synod Care of Creation Work
Group began its existence in 1989 with nine members. Since its
organization, the group has met three to four times each year.
We have promoted energy conservation in our congregations, produced
a calendar in 2000, sponsored a Care of Creation Retreat at Prairie
Woods with the Southeastern Iowa Synod, and published newsletters
periodically in the Northeastern Iowa Synod "Star."
Anyone interested in
becoming involved with Care of Creation should contact the
Northeastern Iowa Synod office in Waverly at 319-352-1414.
