Mission Trip
New Hope is the name of our mission
congregation near Dyersville. This congregation is building
their first facility and doing much of the work themselves to save
money. A conference could dispatch a group of men or men and
youth to help with basic construction, painting, or landscaping.
Conference funds could be used for meals, transportation, building
materials or all three. For more information contact Pr.
Beverly Short at New Hope, Farley.
Sports
Leagues
Softball, dartball and bowling
leagues are becoming popular again. Conference funds could be
used to establish a conference league by purchasing trophies,
subsidizing a league banquet, paying ball diamond fees or
acquiring league supplies. For information on dartball
call Mr. Tom Squire at St. John, Charles City. For Softball
information call Pr. Curt Schneider at St. Paul’s, Waverly.
