Conferences for Cooperative Ministry Grants

Examples of cooperative ministries and how conference funds could be expended to finance:

WORSHIP

Praise Band Jam
A Conference could sponsor a “jam fest” for the “praise bands” in the synod.  A cooperative effort with the colleges of the church could provide musical leadership, semi-professional bands and an opportunity to exchange music resources and discuss worship and liturgy.  For more information call Pr. MINISTRY

Lay Staff Training
The Conference could use funds to sponsor an event or series of events to help train church secretaries, office managers, or treasurers.  The sessions could include a pizza supper and speakers on such topics as computer applications for the church office, tax implications for the church treasurer, professional office procedures, or office hospitality.  For speakers and other resources contact Pr.
