• “Poverty simulation” presented by Lutheran Services in Iowa and sponsored by the Dubuque County Chapter #31138 of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans

• Sculpture-building contest using items needed by homeless shelters

• Music and improvisational comedy provided by CSI: Ha Comedy Scene Improv, a new group formed by three guys who love to laugh and expose humor in any situation.

Registration Information

Assembly Registration
Due March 5, 2010:
Each Congregation must pre-register for the Assembly by submitting the LYO Assembly Congregation Registration Form (pdf) by March 5, 2010 at a cost of $60 per participant.

Hotel Reservation:
Each Congregation should make its own housing reservations at the Grand Harbor Hotel at 563-690-4000 and identify yourself as making a registration for the "LYO Assembly."

Dinner Buffet
Mixed Greens with Diced Tomatoes, Y Diced Scallions, Spice Ranch Dressing, Beef Enchiladas, Spanish Rice, Refried Beans, Chef’s Sizzling Cooked to Order Fajita Bar Including: Beef, Chicken, Shrimp, Onions, Peppers, Flour Tortillas, Shredded Lettuce, Dice Tomatoes, Pico de Gallo and Guacamole with Iced Tea.
