Anita graduated from Iowa State with a B.S. in Biology/Zoology.
Raised in the Roman Catholic Church, Anita learned about Martin Luther and found her faith struggles were very similar to his.
Drawn to its emphasis on grace, she joined the Lutheran Church.
Anita raised three children, was a hospital volunteer, biology teacher, and coach, assistant activities director in a nursing home, a substitute teacher and a parish secretary.
Then God called her to something else.
Last year Pastor Nuetzman graduated from Wartburg Theological Seminary and took a call to Calmar Lutheran, Calmar and Springfield Lutheran, Decorah.
Thanks to your gifts, the H. George Anderson Fund for Leaders covered Anita’s tuition for her last year of seminary.
Your support for the Fund for Leaders helps ensure a future of leaders with diverse backgrounds and gifts to serve our church.
