The Middle School Lock-in is set for Oct. 21-22 at the UNI Wellness/Recreation Center in Cedar Falls, with special guest artist Rachel Kurtz.
Junior high and middle school students, ages 12 to 15, are invited to attend. Check-in begins at 7 p.m. Friday, with the event starting at 8 p.m. and ending 6 a.m. Saturday.
This year’s “Emerge” theme will feature worship and music with Rachel Kurtz, a Minneapolis-based musician who has performed at the national ELCA Youth Gatherings. Other activities include a silent disco, pizza, swimming, rock wall climbing, games, bags tournament, movie room, and more.
The lock-in is sponsored by ThreeHouse Collaborative Campus Ministries and is open to youth from the three ELCA synods in Iowa and partner churches of ThreeHouse.
