This ecumenical conference will take place April 16-18 at the Best Western Hotel and Conference Center in Dubuque with the theme “Flourishing: Land, People and Community.” It is sponsored by Wartburg Theological Seminary in conjunction with the International Rural Churches Association and will be an opportunity to meet with others from around the world who are engaged in rural ministries.
Keynote speakers will be the Rev. Dr. Gil Waldkoenig, who will present “Soundscapes of Grace in Creation and Ministry,” and Heather Major, Ph.D., who will present “Embodied, Contextual and Rural.” Several breakout workshops and a Bible study will also be offered.
