Early-bird registration is open through Sept. 22 for the Middle School Lock-In, set for Oct. 6–7 at the UNI Wellness/Recreation Center in Cedar Falls.
The lock-in is sponsored by ThreeHouse Collaborative Campus Ministries and Bethlehem Lutheran, Cedar Falls, and is open to youth in grades 7, 8 and 9 from the three ELCA synods in Iowa and partner churches of ThreeHouse.
This year’s “Created to …” theme will focus on possibilities for building community and connections with one another. Activities will include open gym, swimming, rock wall climbing, games, movies, worship, group discussions, pizza, snacks and a special middle-of-the-night activity.
Check-in will begin at 7 p.m. Friday, with the event starting at 8 p.m. and ending 6 a.m. Saturday.
REGISTER NOW!
If registered by Sept. 22, the cost to attend is $50 per youth, which includes a T-shirt. After Sept. 22, the fee is $65. Registrations will not be accepted after Sept. 28.
Each congregation needs to provide their own chaperones for the entire event ― one adult per seven youth. There is no fee for adult chaperones; however, chaperones must complete the registration forms.
Parents should complete the registration and liability release forms below and submit the forms to their pastor or youth leader, along with a check made out to the church. Each church will then submit the forms and payment for the entire group to Bethlehem Lutheran.
